What is The Shell Case Alliance?
Put simply it is a blogging co-operative. A collection of wargaming bloggers who mutually support one another’s blogging efforts by reblogging, retweeting and engaging in active discussion about the hobby through blog comments, Twitter and Facebook pages.
The Alliance exists to enrich the hobby experience for writers and readers alike and only accepts members into its ranks that are happy and willing to extol that principle and support fellow members in their hobby and blogging endeavours.
How do I join The Shell Case Alliance?
All you have to do us go to the contact us page and complete the contact form making sure you include the following:
- Your blog name
- Your blog URL
- An email address so we can get hold of you
- A summary of what your blog is about
- How long you blog has been running
- And anything else you feel we should know whilst we consider your application
We’ll then review your blog and if we feel you’re a good fit for our growing community we’ll get in touch and add you to the blogdex and the RSS feed.
You then get to add one of the shiny buttons below to your blog and link back here. One has black copy for pale backgrounds the other white for dark backgrounds so make sure you use the right one. Both are PNGs so should have transparent backgrounds. If you have any problems let us know and we’ll send you a fresh image.
What’s asked of you?
Being a part of the Alliance gives you a support framework of dedicated wargaming enthusiasts who will do their best to reblog/repost and tweet about your blog posts. As such, all we ask, aside from displaying our logos, is that you do the same for them.
We also ask you to engage and nurture the community on The Shell Case forum as much as possible as its members will be your readers. You can do this by adding the Shell Case Alliance RSS feed widget to you your blog so visitors can see what else the network is talking about.
